Hurricane Grill & Wings Earns a Spot On the 2014 Entrepreneur Magazine Top 500 Franchise List

December 20, 2013

The winners of Entrepreneur’s 35th Annual Franchise 500Ò have been announced, and Hurricane Grill & Wings has proudly earned a spot on this prestigious list.

The process began back in July 2013, when franchisors were asked to participate in this year’s Entrepreneur magazine survey. Each submission was vetted before being entered for data analysis, with 853 companies making the first cut. Of those, 500 companies were selected to make the final list based on financial and statistical data from July 2011 through July 2013 that was analyzed by an independent CPA. Only franchise companies that supplied a full disclosure document and whose information was verified by Entrepreneur could receive a listing on the top 500.

All companies, regardless of size, were judged by the same criteria, which took into account financial strength and stability, growth rate, and size of the system. These objective factors were plugged into the exclusive Franchise 500® formula, with each eligible company receiving a cumulative score. The 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores became the 2014 Franchise 500®.
