Hurricane Grill & Wings, an island-inspired, full-service restaurant franchise, announced that franchise development expert, Frank Steed will become the newest member of the brand’s Advisory Board, providing an independent perspective on their growth strategies. As Hurricane Grill & Wings continues to increase its presence in new and existing territories, Steed will advise the leadership team on ways to maximize the restaurant’s growth potential.

With over 40 years in the restaurant industry, Steed began his career at T.G.I. Friday’s, where he worked in positions such as franchise operations, development and Executive Vice President. He has since served as President and CEO of Country Hospitality Corporation and with Metromedia Restaurant Group which repositioned several struggling franchise brands to become successful with over 1,000 units domestically and internationally. Steed later went on to serve as President and CEO of Tony Roma’s Famous for Ribs, where he oversaw over 60 restaurant deals for international locations including the Middle East, England, Brazil, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Chile and a variety of domestic cities. Since leaving the executive world, he has worked with additional franchise brands such as McAlister’s, IHOP, Papa Murphy’s, Twin Peaks, Wingstop and Which Wich to improve upon their strategies and maximize growth opportunities. As the newest member of the Advisory Board, Steed will receive weekly and monthly reports on Hurricane Grill & Wings’ growth and revenue. Steed will offer feedback, guidance and advice on the growing brand’s plans and results at each of the company’s quarterly board meetings.
